Research Group Description:
Our group is devoted to developing the cutting-edge electrochemical instrumentations and advanced electrochemical measurement methods at single-molecule level. Examples include Nanopore-based Single-molecule Analysis, Stochastic Collision Electrochemistry, Bio-interface Spectroelectrochemistry, and Integrated Biosensors in combination with advanced computational pipeline to reveal the characteristics and dynamics of single entities, as well as the design and application of nanopore-based Single Biomolecule Interface for single-molecule reactions and protein sequencing.

Postdoctoral Research Fellows
The salary range is starting 300-350kRMB/year (46,000-53,000 USD/year) depending on experience for two years. The first three (3) months of employment serve as an Introductory Evaluation Period.
Job Requirements:
Have a strong desire to work in academia;
Received comprehensive research training from top universities;
Demonstrated a high-level of skill in team-working, communication, and academic writing;
The candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant field (Electrochemistry, Biophysics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry). Strong scientific programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab, LabVIEW) are essential. Experience in electrophysiology or nanopores (preferable nanopore-based single molecular detection) would be beneficial.
PhD Students
PhD candidates are invited in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Nanjing University. Applicants must have a high motivation in their academic career and an excellent academic record.
Salary is supported by China Government Scholarship (https://hwxy.nju.edu.cn/_t486/6134/list.htm) plus additional special fellowship (1500~2000 USD/month)
For more details or to apply please contact Prof. Yi-Tao Long by email (yitaolong@nju.edu.cn), with application materials (CV, personal statement, and at least two recommendation letters).
We consider all applications on merit and have a strong commitment to enhancing the diversity of our staff.
